Persimmon Ditch Bank Stabilization
Owensboro, KY
Due to years of erosion through the water shed, Persimmon Ditch in Owensboro, Kentucky required clearing, re-grading and stabilization. Burlington Civil Inc. subcontracted Klenck Company to perform the tree removal and recycling, ditch back excavation, and cellular confinement and channel slope reinforcement (). Once the trees are ground they will be sold for pulp wood. Nearly 10,000 cubic yards of soil will be moved onsite to meet the proposed grading plans and 1500 lineal feet of channel slope reinforcement will be installed at the flowline of the ditch.
